A man out of nowhere came back to Pakistan and started taking interest in current situation of Pakistan.  Looking at the current situation of Pakistan he decided to step in the politics and bring change for his countrymen. Yes I am talking about Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri, man with luck I believe. From the past 2 years I was hearing about “Long March” for the change by Mr. Imran Khan but he failed to deliver. Cashing out the platform set by Imran Khan, Dr. Tahir announced the date of Long March. Government Officials tried to have dialogues with him but he denied having it by saying “He will have dialogues in front of nation not in closed room”

His luck again helped him, a sad incident of blast claiming more than 100 Shia killings happened at Alamdar Road, Quetta and the peaceful sit in against the Provisional Government of Baluchistan started in Quetta and in the whole country later on. Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri overlooked the sit-ins and did not bother to visit any sit in but find it opportunity and named his March as “Hussaini Lashkar” to have more followers. On 13^th January, 2013 Dr. Tahir started his long march from Lahore and by the end of 14^th January, 2013 he was in Islamabad with thousands of followers.

Everyone was following the Long March with the hope that change will come. Thousands of followers of Dr. Tahir stayed out in the cold nights of Islamabad but the leader stayed in container. On 15^th of January, 2013 luck again helped Dr. Sahab when Mr. Chief Justice of Pakistan announced Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf guilty in Rental Power Case and asked NAB to arrest him along wih 19 other people. The news reached Dr. Qadri when he was addressing the followers and he concluded his speech with words “Adha khitab ho gaya or adha kaam bhi, Baki khitab kal ho ga!”

Mr. Imran Khan on the same day presented seven-point agenda at a press conference and announced that his party won’t participate in the long march held by Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri. Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri on the next day presented his four-point agenda at long march which was almost the same. For me he wanted Mr. Imran Khan to join his March that is why he kept his same agenda. However, Mr. Imran Khan announced again that his party will not participate. For the first time, on 16^th of January, 2013 Government official showed up and started criticizing Dr. Tahir in a funny way.

On 17^th January, 2013 Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri invited Government of Pakistan to have dialogues with him. Government responded positively and under the Supervision of Mr. Chaudhry Shujat Hussain, sent delegation of 10 to have dialogues with Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri. Dialogues held in the closed container where Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri was staying and followers outside did not have a clue what deal was happening inside, hence his statement of having dialogues in front of nation not in closed room turned out to be false. After 4 hours, Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri and delegation of Government of Pakistan settled an agreement and it was sent to Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf for approval. Same Prime Minister who was according to Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri was now Ex-Prime Minister, what we have witnessed is a U-Turn by Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri, he got settled with the security provided by the same Prime Minister.

I must say TOPI DRAMA named “From Leader to Prankster” is finally over and nation got fool by a prankster. Mr. Imran Khan’s decision was criticised by many but for me it turned out to be a good one.
