One of my friend started laughing when he heard the news that PTA had blocked Youtube in Pakistan.
I asked why you did so. He turned his computer on and logged in on Youtube. Surprisingly, it was working fine completely.
He sarcastically smiled and said “look at this”. We started yelling that “it is blocked… it is blocked Subhanallah Mashallah Allah hu Akbar”.
“But dude why you want to open a website which is showing blasphemous videos?” I questioned him in shaky voice.
No I am not going to open it but I want to check PTA’s action to block Youtube,” he replied.
But man what is logic behind banning YouTube in Pakistan, I asked him.
He again laughed and added after my childish question.
Let me explain a simple logic my dear end-user, he said.
Try opening YouTube, it will show nothing which means that our internet backbone servers are aware of computers and their routes because they only can sense which computer is located in Pakistan , so they won’t let it open YouTube
Now here comes the tricky part. What if somehow some users “ brainwash” the watchmen which we call firewalls ( software which is responsible to keep the record of incoming and outgoing connections and jam the website according to fed set of rules ) by some means and make them “think” that your computer is located somewhere outside Pakistan obviously they will allow to open the banned website yes any website…
Yes but how it’s possible that being in Pakistan I make the PTA ban think that my computer in Pakistan.
My dear Patriot Muslim Pakistani wake up everything is possible here you can be in any country within a matter of seconds I mean your computer, yes in a one click l. All you need to have information about bypassing the barricades…
He then added “but still I am supporting the ban and avoid opening it at any cost. That’s why I am not putting here the method to open it because I know that movie is a piece of filth. And if I mention the method, it is obvious due to built-in in curiosity our Muslim brothers that will surely see the clip, and then who will be responsible”
In the last, take this advice do not block YouTube but keep protesting to ban that specific video or else. You know the rest, anybody who has some basic sense of bypassing the walls PTA tried to build around the YouTube. He laughed sarcastically again and turned off his system.
I was then deviated and started think are we really secured from porn websites even??
