Battle between followers and opponents of Jinnah

For the first time the only leader of subcontinent Muhammad Ali Jinnah took decision to make a independent homeland for Muslims of subcontinent and waged a battle for their rights, He faced taunts of “British agent” from forefathers of same school of thought of today’s mullahs; those mullahs called him British agent and character assassination of Jinnah was their sole business. They issued edicts of ‘infidelity’ for Jinnah. Even then Jinnah’s philosophy was winning over the hearts and minds of people of subcontinent. And Jinnah’s Pakistan came into being on 14th august 1947.

Three days before Independence Jinnah said in a public speech, ‘You are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques. You may belong to any religion, caste or creed – that has nothing to do with the fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State. But what happened then? They were again active to destabilize nascent country and this time they had got support from powerful military and feudal lords too. Military and feudal lords did their part and mullahs their own. No one is not aware of the brutal torture of military generals’ torture against communists, and progressive leftist organizations and intellectuals. As recounted by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, when the renowned lawyer Manzur Qadir brought up the case of the detention of Major Ishaq, the author of the famous book ‘Hasan Nasir ki shahadat’, in a cabinet meeting, Ayub retorted, “Oh, that bloody communist! I think he should be executed”.

Such was the harassment of communist leaders that they were always on the run from the goons of the state. Murder of Hassan Nasir is worst example of mcCarthyism. Since independence East Pakistan was deprived of its resources’ royalty. Resource allocation for East Pakistan was never equal since independence of Pakistan. The Bengali separatists movement was the reaction of the continued twenty-three years of injustice. In 1971, Military generals buried Jinnah’s Pakistan in the palton’s ground when it surrendered to Indian army and handed East Pakistan over to India. It was the death of morale of Pakistani nation. Then Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto resuscitated dying nation. He reorganized defeated army. Getting back 5000 square kilometers area of land from Indian occupation and release of 90,000 imprisoned soldiers of Pakistan army from Indian jails was his great achievement for dying nation and defeated military. And it was the beginning of new dawn new hope for disappointed people of Pakistan. Then, during his democratic government he gave unanimous constitution, he organized Islamic conference, he was also founder of atomic program. He gave us atomic bomb. SZAB became the iconic figure around the world. He was the voice of oppressed nations of third world. During his seven years democratic government all mega projects of Pakistan started on the behest of his mega projects Pakistan is surviving to date. Unemployment rate decreased down to 6 percent under his seven years rule. Pakistan was supposed to become welfare state. But mullahs, generals and right wing groups/parties launched anti-democratic movement against hero of Pakistan. A bad character general Zia unconstitutionally removed him and throwed unanimous constitution of Pakistan in dust bin and eventually hanged this diamond. Bhutto was of the people by the people for the people so he never compromised and gave his life for people.

He wrote history for rest of the world. World’s most prestigious universities history syllabus is incomplete without Bhutto’s great sacrifice. I feel dearth of words to describe about his sacrifice for humanity. Zia introduced his own made hardliner Islam, and nation is still paying price for his wrong deeds. Since 1967 to date, no any other organisation or institute sacrificed as much as PPP and its Jiyalas have sacrificed for Pakistan. During Zia’s worst Marshall law jiyalas faced war prisoner’s trials due to Zia’s state terrorism, but they never surrendered. 1977 to 1988 Zia again took Pakistan back to 1971 position. Jamaati state terrorists were made active and Pakistan converted into one of the dangerous states of world. SMBB twice tried her best to eradicate extremists and terrorists form our country but she herself became the victim of conspiracy. In 1990s Devil OBL colluded with his friend maulana Nawaz Sharif to topple SMBB’ s governments twice and to kill her too. And now these terrorists, maulaanas and generals are again active to hatch conspiracy against honorable President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. These extremists maulaanas have same mindset of those who were against Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, ZSAB, SMBB and now they are against Asif Ali Zardari and his government. Generals have learnt no lesson from departure of Dhaka, OBL killing and attack on PNS Mehran base.

Generals along with terrorists still playing with nation. Established links of military officials with international terrorist organization Hizb-u- Tahrir is bad omen for nation and military. It shows that there is strong bond between Pakistan military and international terrorists. COAS and DG ISI need to correct their directions. Otherwise it is not a year or two that international community will start to call Pakistan army “world’s no.1 terrorist institute”.

Washington almost does not rely on Pakistan army and U.S president Obama used to reiterate his election campaign slogan “Pakistan is safe haven for breeding terrorists”. Our generals are accountable to our nation, they must clarify nation where they are going to lead us. What are the hurdles to dismantle terrorists’ network within Pakistan. Why they have made safe heavens (madaressahs) for terrorists breeding. Why they kill innocent journalists like Saleem Shehzad and others and why do not they kill mullahs (terrorists)? Mr. General Kayani would you like to answer to nation?

I agree with most of content but  ”honorable President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari”.. what a joke..

  2. Mlatifminhas says:

The article did not end beautifully as Zardari is a symbol of hatred and not honor.
