Is Pakistan a failed State…?

There is no doubt that today Pakistan is passing through worst period of its history and entangled in bundle of internal and external controversies, difficulties, but despite all these complexities Pakistan keeps its existence as an important state on world map.

Conspiracies and plotting has been planned against Pakistan from the day one of its independence to depict a worst picture of the first Islamic nuclear state before the world. Negative propagandas still using to show Pakistan a failed state, but their all schemes go fail.

Pakistan is not a failed state and if it would be a failed state then the United States and military alliance of 48 countries not bow down before it and apologized over its lethal attack of November 25, 2011 at a military check-post of Pakistan. Taking strong action against the Nato attack Pakistan blocked Nato supply route on the very next day of the attack.

Since then, the United States and Nato played its every card to reopen Nato supply line by taking Pakistan into pressure by using other tactics. The US feared Pakistan with sanctions, and also tried to elevate Balochistan issue to show it a failed state. The US also threatened Pakistan with the blockade of Coalition Support Fund.

When US remained failed in its every tactics it apologized and said ‘sorry’ to Pakistan and also accepted that Salala attack was its mistake. The US also assured to avoid such incident in the future.

The US apology shows that Pakistan is not a failed state, but it has potential to bow down a super power.

The US and Nato have knew that their mission in Afghanistan cannot accomplish successfully if Pakistan split itself from the war against terror. They know very well that drawdown of approximately 128,000 international troopers from the war torn Afghanistan is unfeasible without Pakistan’s assistance.

At the end I must say that Pakistan cannot survive alone in this modern age, but Pakistan has potential to put others in difficult situation owing to its specific geographical conditions and nuclear status.

Saeed, Pakistan is definitely not a failed state and it can not be.

The reason however is different than what you have stated.  The reason is that this state came into being on a single purpose (The Ideology of Pakistan).  I bet even our Nuclear arms are not enough to protect us.  But our Ideology is!  We can only be a failed state when and if someone takes away our Ideology from us.

The famous ‘Apology’ for which Pakistan stood up also has its roots somewhere in our Ideology..somewhere in Allama Iqbal’s concept of ‘Dignity’.  Let us hold this concept high and we will never be a failed state.

We live in fantasy abstract thoughts away from ground reality.?what is ideology? We have been fooled on such terms.

ideology is not a fantasy its reality for which ur elders have sacrificed their lives n u r living in independent country

I am in 100 percent agreement with you but dear brother the “sorry” could not help any nation get rid of perception of failed state

    Saeed,
My comments are also like Mr. Nadeem. But I value your positive effort in highlighting true and positive image of Pakistan.

Com’on , why do you guys keep dreaming ?? That was futile apology , more of a gimmick. Its like a man raped a woman and when woman asks for apology , man laughs and says “Sorry”. Don’t read too much in that apology. Don’t forget we had to beg for it. When we beg for something , do we really deserve that thing ?
