I don’t understand why people have come to believe that Imran Khan will eat into the vote bank of only Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz. My question is: won’t he eat into the vote bank of PPP, PML-Q or any other party? I am sure he will also cut the vote bank of PPP and PML-Q in Punjab.
I think he has developed a broad-based following. He is not only popular among youth, but also among old people. He is not just popular in Punjab, but also in Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
I am sure the candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will bag votes in tens of thousands in every Karachi constituency, particularly those dominated by Muttahida Qaumi Movement. And if he makes an alliance with the Jamat-e-Islami and these two parties make seat adjustments in the city, they might win some seats in Karachi.
In the interior of Sindh, he is unlikely to make any significant impact because most of the Sindhi people vote for PPP because it was founded by a Sindhi.
Similarly, he is unlikely to make inroads in Balochistan where people either vote for Baloch sardars or the Deobandi ulema. In both of these vote banks, he cannot make any dent.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, too, he can make great headway because he is a Khan.

If he makes an alliance with lotas, (I don't want to mention here who I'm talking about everyone knows), then he is definitely going to destroy his party reputation.

The biggest mistake Imran Khan can make is to accept current politicians in his party.
How can he expect to make an honest and dedicated team with those extensively tried people who have always disappointed us.
We are experiencing these superficial makeovers since 64 years.
Claiming "CHANGE" with old team is nothing but a joke.
